Trondheim through all seasons

It has been snowing during the night,

and the cathedral decided to dress in her most beautiful coat.

On a sunny Sunday in March Trondheim has a lot of possibilities if you want to spend the day out in the nature. With or without skis. We hiked to Rønningen today, an old farm, now used as  sports cottage with an open cafe. As we had our little three months old garndson with us, we left our skis behind, and hiked along the road which is plowed during the winter, but not open for traffic.

Finally therem we treated ourselves with fresh pastries and hot chocolate, sitting out in the winter sun which slowly starts to give some warmth now.

Trondheim in the snow

It has snowed heavily for several days and now Trondheim is all dressed in white.

White is beautiful, but can also be a challenge.

Especially for the birds.
Looks like someone has fed the pigeons.
