Morning near the river

Still time for an outdoor lunch

Autumn is here. Days are short, the sun is low, temperaures hardly over freezing point.

 I walk in the crisp air and is charmed by a young couple enjoying a picnic near the river.

As long as you are dressed in love, you are always warm and comfortable.

After weeks of rain

After weeks of rain, the lovely autumn sun is out, colouring the world in gold.

The low sun creates fascinating shadows. Here the Elgeseter Bridge can be seen on Marinen.

Impossible not to miss Trondheim.......

When you are a lover of Trondheim it is impossible not to miss the city when you are away. I am in Krakow for a few days, and though I have the loveliest time here, there is something about my first love......

I am humming the old song about Nidelven and The Port of Happiness, Lykkens Portal.

A comfort here I sit, far from Trondheim, is that the weather up there is cold and wet. Here we are enjoying very nice days.....

And soon I am back.......

Still nice autumn days

 

Though we are now in the season of autumn, there can still be nice, sunny days. This photo was taken some days ago, from the Old City Bridge.

Lunch break along the river

 

Since my office is close to the river, I can see the river from my window, it is tempting from time to time to go there for a walk, to sit down in silence, in prayers, with a book.

 

Trondheim has an impressive wildlife; animals, birds, trees, flowers, and of course river and sealife.

 

I have some knowledge, but could always learn more about our wildlife.

 

Knowledge or not, the river Nidelven is beautiful. At all times of the day.
