We write the 4th of January, and our city is supposed to be covered in snow, the blizzards are supposed to hit, and we should cover ourselves in our warmest winter clothes.

Instead we are enjoying mild, sunny days,

and it feels a little weird that we are flying south to Tenerife tomorrow morning......

.....to escape winter?????

Photographing glass, doors or windows?

I wanted to take a photo of the glass figures displayed in the window. But the day was too bright. All I got was the reflections, or.......

Bakklandet, an old part of Trondheim, is like a small village with its wooden houses.

Christmas at Bakklandet

The Christmas Days are cold and quiet. Shops and most cafes are closed.

A perfect, though icy cold, day for a walk.

  

Still not to late to sit outdoors, with a blanket.....

A small antique shop

I am in Prague for a few days, and one of the things I enjoy here are the many antique stores. We do have a few in Trondheim as well. Here is one at Bakklandet....which I've never visited. May be I really should go there some day.
