Starbucks is coming to Trondheim.
The first coffee shop will open at the airport in September,
then two more will open downtown in October.
I have mixed feelings.
I love frappucinos and free wifi at Starbucks around the world,
but I am afraid they will kill the small, individual coffee shops
which you find a lot of in Trondheim.
I love the coffee shops of Trondheim.
When I am out on my Trondheim photo walks
I always sit down with a cappuccino, or some other coffee:
As often as possible on different coffee shops.
Most often I am alone,
or I can be lucky and meet my oldest son ;-)
I will probably visit a Starbucks from time to time.
But I will make sure not to forget the rest of the coffee houses in Trondheim.
They are to precious!
Oh I do feel for places that Starbucks invade ,, why do they have to do this. Just continue to support the individual coffee shops you have ,, they need all the support they can get now ,, I would if I lived there.
I saw them in Paris , I never use them ,, why would I , when there are wonderful places to rest and have a drink. xo

Britt, I share your feelings about Starbucks. They have nice locations, but I don't care for their coffee. I rarely go to one unless there are no other options. Our town also has many independent coffee shops, one of which has been here since the 1960's! I try to support them exclusively!
