Moods of Norway

Showing Trondheim to three girls in their 20ies means that I get to see new places. Suddenly I was not in the leda any more. "Aunt, have you seen this store? Moods of Norway. It is so cool!"

I had to go inside with the girls of course, and they were right. Cool!

The clothes on sale were not my cup of tea, I am too old for them, but it would be fun trying some on in one of these small rooms :-) (help, what is "prøverom" in English......)

  I do love the candelier though!

What about a pair of new shoes? I could easily go for that.

Anyway, I love being a tourist, in my own city, in the world. 

Fairytale Cupcakes, time for coffee

 
I have told you before. I love, love, love it when I find a new cafe or coffee shop in Trondheim. No Starbucks for me!

 
 A few weeks ago we discovered some works going on behind the windows in a small place close to where our oldest son lives. The sign Fairytale Cupcakes caught our interest. Was this going to be shop for cupcakes equipments or what?

Our youngest daughterloves to bake cupcakes, but so far there are no places in Trondheim where she can buy, and then I mean really BUY, what she needs. I have bought gifts for her from Copenhagen and Oslo, and she has been to Oslo herself to find more stuff for her great hobby, but a store in Trondheim would be perfect.

Well, when this place opened it was almost even better. A cafe, a tiny little coffee house, a cupcake heaven.

I haven't passed by "my" Trondheim Rose for a long time. Now it was almost too late, the petals are falling.

The bees were  busy, making a noise like from a South African football/soccer match
