I think that little street has looked the same for two hundred years! It is charming...

It looks so pretty there in Trondheim... And love that last shot of the church tower and flowers. Happy Weekend, Britt-Anhild! :o)

Thank you for another wee snippet of life in Norway I had this morning. It sooo made me homesick for Norway, which is a silly thing to say probably as I only spent a year in Norway over 20 years ago and remember so many things so well... I loved seeing the roses too and took in the message of the unkempt man caring for the roses...
I was having a look at one of our markets on Saturday in Glasgow and heard a familiar accent and Scandic language and of course my ears pricked up and all the time wondering whether it was Norwegian, Danish or even Swedish - it turned out to be Swedish and found that the 3 ladies were also visiting this country on a shopping spree...
One of these days I will return to visit Stavanger again see Breiavannet and buy shrimps cooked at the harbour - taking them to the beach and enjoying the taste of an 'Oh so fresh' lunch on the sands while watching the water...... HEAVEN!
Cheers from Scotland, Kate x.

Your church images are always especially interesting and lovely. You must have a particular fondness for beautiful old churches.
