My new nativity is finished.
The latest addition was born last night, the little shepherd boy Samuel, and his dad.
Over the holidays I hope to add some sheep, and may be a few other figurines.
The story has been ready for more than 2000 years.

I am back in Norway, and the second king is born. This one comes from Africa, and has travelled a long, long way, following the star.

I have been to a concert in Hallgrims Church today. Among the songs the choir sang was Joseph and the angel. A beautiful hymn, based on a handwritten script from 1396.
He neither shall be born
in house nor in stall.

I am in Iceland for a few days, and brought the crochet with me to work on. An angel was born on the plane today, and finished in the hotel room.......
.......and I think I can see the start of a children´s book somewhere here :-)

Can you remember seeing my collection of small children´s suitcases when I first wrote about the Christmas stockings a few days ago? I bought these boxes for Ingrid and Marta when they were small, to sort doll clothes and tiny little items. Now I use them for different knitting and crocheting projects. The biggest box holds red, green and white yarn for Christmas projects. Today I filled the second one with cotton yarn from my stash.
And a new project is started.
