In the past I have wanted my knitting to be “perfect”. I think as we grow older we realise that we are only human and a few small mistakes won’t be noticed, except by us!

I am wondering if you were posting pictures of your little mistakes...If so, I must tell you that I cannot see them! To me, I only see love and beauty! I think that is true about all artists...we see the mistakes, that no one else will notice...however, sometimes the "mistakes" can turn out to be the best part of the creativity!

well said.

The first step is always the most exciting. I am sitting in a small hotel room, somewhere in Norway. I am knitting, and all of a sudden I knew it was time to start a knitting blog. Maskerade, masquerade, playing with words as maske is the Norwegian word for a knitted stich, rad is a row. Knitted stich in a row - maskerade.
