I took the knitting with me to the seminar.
I knitted.
And the project turned out exactly as I hoped.

I don´t know any English word for it, so I need you help.

Well, it did not turn out quite exactly as I hoped. I used 15 stitches, which is a bit too much. I did not have enough yarn to make the circle big enough, and it is a bit too thick for my linking. I found some other left over yarn, knitted with 10 stitches only and it looks much better. I might unravel this one and try with only 8 stitches.

I would call it a knit trivet, too. And yes, I would like a bit more explanation. Great idea.
