I need more green wool for my Christmas stocking.
And old sweather is unraveled, and then washed to get the "curls" out of the thread.
Hung in the basement to dry,
and then winded up into egg shaped skeins.
Ever since I was a child the skeins I wind up myself have been egg shaped. I learned it in the book The Borrowers, which I loved :-)

I need to find my copy of The Borrowers....I don’t remember egg shaped yarn skeins:-) Love the shade of green.
