A Christmas ball a year.......

Watching Arne & Carlos knitting a Christmas ball last night sent a shower of inspiration my way. I have had their book Jukekuler since it came out in 2010, but only knitted one ball so far.

Now I think I´ll start a tradition. One new ball every year.
One or more that is :-)

I am sure many of you have tried these Christmas balls. Do you have any pictures to show?

The first step is always the most exciting. I am sitting in a small hotel room, somewhere in Norway. I am knitting, and all of a sudden I knew it was time to start a knitting blog. Maskerade, masquerade, playing with words as maske is the Norwegian word for a knitted stich, rad is a row. Knitted stich in a row - maskerade.
