I have a simple nativity set started by my eldest sister years and years ago when she was on night duty. I took over and added some embroidery touches. But we couldn’t think of what to do for the heads, until a visitor suggested using walnuts. Perfect, no more details needed. Yours too needs nothing more, the surface of the crochet has its own expressions!
