We´ve had a busy couple of weeks, and though some knitting has followed me everywhere, it was not until today (or yesterday night actually) I finally picked it up to do some knit and purl. First almost a week in Paris, then home to the celebration of my parents´ 60th wedding anniversary and our house filled with house guests. Fortunately the weather has been amazing, so we have spent most of the time out in the garden. Yesterday the last house guests left, Friday I go back to work, but today the hours, garden, knitting and reading are all mine :-)
I am still working on the braided scarf with the lovely, smooth alpaca yarn I bought at the outdoor art market in Florence. I bought two skeins and have almost finished the first one now, which means I am about halfway. An alpaca scarf like this will probably be too warm for me, even in the coldest of winters, so I have not decided what to do with it yet. May be save it and one day open my own exhibition :-)
Happy summer and happy knitting.
See you soon.
