Summers can be quite cold in Norway, and many years ago I started to crochet a blue blanket for my blue garden.
Year by year the blanket grew slowly. I had started with squares in spring green and one shade of blue, but when I ran out of yarn, so many years had passed, the two colours were not to be found any more.
I had to improve. Two new shades of blue.
It actually makes the blancket better. Kind of fresher.
Now is time to finish the blanket.

Love the simplicity of Granny Squares, as they are called in the UK. Especially when made with just a few colours. This will look lovely in your garden....soon maybe:-)
