Cabin towels knitted in bright cotton

Cabin life often means some other knitting from what I do at home. Many years ago I bought some soft cottong yarn in different shades of blue and green and started to knit towels and wash clothes. As I work on this only while we are here, and as I always have quite a few other things to do while we are here as well, the progress is slow.

Today I finished a blue towel though.

And here is what my cotton cabin towel and wash cloth collection looks like for the moment :-)

The first step is always the most exciting. I am sitting in a small hotel room, somewhere in Norway. I am knitting, and all of a sudden I knew it was time to start a knitting blog. Maskerade, masquerade, playing with words as maske is the Norwegian word for a knitted stich, rad is a row. Knitted stich in a row - maskerade.
