A collection of pot holders

I am a collector. I think I was born as one. One of the things I collect are old knitted and crocheted pot holders. There are so many different patters, you will not believe it. Women through generations have used left over yarn and their creativity to make small treasures.

I have most of my collection at the cabin and for the moment tucked away in a drawer.

For a long time I have been thinking about how to display them, but so far no solution has come to my mind.

Today Terje made a new shelf over the kitchen window, and then I got an idea.
