It is Saturday, we´ve had a night without frost, most of the snow has melted from the garden, though the soil is still quite deep frozen.......but is is April, the first spring month here in Norway, and Terje and I have started the garden season. We both love gardening, and if we had the possibility, you would find us out in Akeleiehagen (@akeleiehagen) on instagram almost 24/7 all year round. THat´s impossible for a great many reasons of course, but we are both happy and content when we can have our garden work hours.
So far it looks like spring is early this year. The work we have done today is often what we do the first days of May. While weeding I almost felt a bit sorry that I am leaving spring in Akeleiehagen in just a few days to go to Italy. But then I remembered - April can still fool us many times, and when I am back on May 1st, the garden can look almost exactly like it does today. And then I can enjoy spring!
But.......with the garden season open, a month in Italy ahead.......how will I be able to keep up with my knitting? And my knitting blog?
I will. Somehow I will. I know that :-)
And I hope that you will be here too.
By the way, today´s photo: a sock I finished the other day. I always buy two skeins of yarn for a pair of sock and when I have finished one, I use the left over yarn for a wrist warmer. Then I do the same with the next skein. This way I always know exactly how much yarn I have for the wrist warmers.

Lovely colours in your socks! Spring has started early here too....yesterday I found a few bluebells already out in the woods. I hope things don't open too fast, so often we have late frosts.

Bluebells already. How wonderful Fran. I remember I was at Turvey Abbey one year during bluebell time. The abbey woods was amazing.
