As May 17th is getting closer, and my month in Italy is coming to an end, Leander´s sweather, or jacket as I like to call it, is growing. Row by row. Row by row. Still I need to be all by myself when working on it, saying out aloud something like red, black, red, red, five times red and black, four reds, black, red, black, black, red and so on.
Sometimes I am doing a red when it is supposed to be a black.
Other times I lose a stick and has to knit backwards for one or two rows.
Most of the time I am doing fine though, and I am slowly starting to believe that I will make it till the 17th!
I feel sure you will achieve your goal....even if it means a few late nights:-) What a glorious design.

I know the feeling: 3, 2, 2, 1, 5…..I'm knitting Norwegian mittens. But MY rows are much, much shorter than yours. I'm intrigued by the design in the jacket. Does it have any significance? Carry on,
