@brittarnhild
The coming days and weeks I will work on the design og Maskerade. But impatient as I am, I couldn´t wait with some posting. I am in Oslo for two days on a seminar, which means I get quite a lot of knitting done. The yarn was bought on Wednesday, I started the toddler sweather when the seminar started yesterday, and I continue today.
I love this traditional pattern, and plan to write a special post about it some day.
But today I keep focused because I have the yarn and the needles between my fingers.
Long meetings makes quite a lot of knitting :-)
I love your new blog, Britt-Arnhild. And the pattern of this sweater is beautiful. Is it the same as the little one you knit for Leander earlier? I look forward to seeing what you bring here to share.

One of my plans for "some day" is to knit a traditional Norwegian garment....I know who I will be asking for advice!
After several years of knitting only pairs of socks, cowls, hats and gloves I recently started a new garment for me. Using some Aran yarn unravelled from a sweater hardly worn I am enjoying seeing the rows of cables grow...'just one more row" kind of knitting. I love the ancient traditions behind knitting and look forward to hearing about more about yours.

An Aran sweather. How wonderful! Do you have any photos to show/share Fran?

Dear Britt Arnhild. I look at you knitting those tiny little stitches, with such an intricate pattern and I marvel...it seems just like magic to me! I think you have picked the most perfect name for your knitting blog!

I knew you would like the word play of "maskerade" Jane :-)
The little sweather I am knitting is for Sonia and Fabio´s baby. They are coming for dinner tomorrow, and I am eager to show what I have done so far.
