I have not had time to do much on my secret knitting. But the other day I found a glass jar with old butons. It is time to select a few for the project
I have a vide selection of buttons to chose among. When my grandma Olga died, I inherited hers, and since then I have a growing collection.
In the next secret knitting post I will reveal what this is going to be :-)

A book you may enjoy is The Button Box by Lynn Knight; a kind of memoir where she searches through the buttons she has inherited and tells both the stories of her family and those of the times.
