@brittarnhild
Ever since I started blogging, more than 12 years ago, I have played with the idea of starting a special knitting blog. Somehow I never went further than just playing. I did make a special category for knitting in my main blog, Britt-Arnhild´s House in the Woods though, where I, from time to time, posted about some of my different knitting projects (you find a link to these posts here) But the knitting blog idea has been a sleeping one. Until two days ago. I am not quite sure how it happened. What I do know is that I already had more than enough blogs, and another one was kind of no option. But "maskerade" wanted things different. She had made up her mind to be born, and so she did.
So far I am not sure where "maskerade" will take me. It will be about knitting, I know that. But in what way, in which direction? I am as curious as you to find out.
What I do know is that as soon as "maskerade" was born, she showered me with inspiration. Like I was hit by a flood. I will write about finished and unfinished projects. I will write about knitting traditions, both Norwegian and from other places. I will tell knitting tales. I will take you to knitting stores. I will discuss projects with you. May be there will be some guest bloggers visiting.......I don´t know.
To succeed with "maskerade", I am depending on you, my readers.
Thanks you to all of you who have already visited and left comments. I hope to see you here often. I will do my best to reply to your comments.
If you like the blog, why don´t share it with a friend.
The more, the merrier.
Thank you so much for deciding to offer a knitting blog, especially in English, in addition to your other wonderful blogs. I am looking forward to sharing your projects .... I find knitting very restful so I know I will enjoy visiting your new knitting blog.
