I just tried to catch up on your bird posts through Google translate and then make a comment, but it would not go through so I will try again. Sometimes the translation is very rough and I have to guess at the words! You used the word "cut" or rather it was translated that way and I can't imagine what that means!
At any rate I wanted to say that I have never seen a redpoll. I live too far south for them. But my secretary at work created a counted cross stitch picture of redpolls for me for Christmas one year and I delight in hanging it on the wall every winter. I enjoyed seeing your photos of the redpolls. They are so pretty.
I have also never seen a cormorant.
Keep up your good work and I will keep trying to figure out the translations!!
And happy belated Mother's Day. It is celebrated here in May.
