Our Tallinn weekend started with a checkin at St.Petersbourg Hotel, a walk up the hill to see the roof tops of the city, and then down to a gourmet dinner at Restaurant Nevskij
Charm, smiles, atmosphere and fantastic food.
Yes, our days in Estonia started as good as it could.
Nevskij is a Russian restaurant,
then of course the obvious starter.......... deep red borsch.
:::::::::::::
St.Petersbourg Hotel is situated in the middle of Old Town Tallinn. Its 27 rooms and suites are all decorated in the Russian merchant style, and all.....well, I never saw all, but our Junior Suite (we were upgraded from a Superior) was romantic and perfect for our weekend.
And the service superiour!
Down in the basement was another restaurant, quite different from Nevskij. We had our breakfast here. A rich farmer´s breakfast, which kept us going for hours.
And with charming writings on the walls.
All in all, St.Petersbourg Hotel turned out to be a perfect base for our Tallinn weekend.
We´ll be back........some day.
