They are busy, running here ands there, up and down.
Sowing is their passion,
and most of all, sunflower seeds.
My busy garden workers are the squirrels :-) In spring and early summer they put sunflower seeds everywhere. I weed most of the seedlings, but a few are allowed to grow. Which means there are many sunflower in the garden now.
On the eastern side of our house there is an old flower bed. Already here when we bought the house in 2001. Already then overgrown with weeds.
Every second day I say to Terje, let´s try this, let´s try that. The other days I say, let´s just remove the whole bed and plant grass instead.
Now I have got another idea though. A good one I think :-) I will remove all the old plants and make the bed into a primula bed. Or a primrose bed as you would say in English.
With the lovely weather which continues, I am tempted to start early with the sowing. I know that there might still come nights with frost, but I don´t have room for all the pots indoors. I have an oven in the greenhouse which I can turn on during the cold nights, so hopefully it will be okay. I also believe that the plants will develop to be strong and stubborn with this start.
Of course the sowing is perpetuated at YouTube :-)
