I´ve got the flu and since Sunday night I´ve been mostly asleep. In my bed, or on the sofa in the living room. Or, if I am well enough, I can sit in my favorite armchair for a few minutes, watching the birds out in the garden. Today I feel a little better though, and when the postman came I could´t resist walking out and up to the mailbox. December and Christmas mail is the best part of the year for post. On my way I stopped to enjoy the snow which has fallen over the last couple of days, and then I had to get my camera. The garden was too beautiful not to take som photos.
Later today, if I feel well enough, I will write a few Christmas latter. I know I am late and they might not arrive in time. But what is important is that they will arrive.......eventually.
I like to write Christmas latters. I like to sit down at my desk, pick a card from the special box where I keep my Christmas stationary, share words with a friend. Still, I do not write as many Christmas letters as I used to, and sometimes I wonder if it is a dying art.
Do you still send out handwrittens cards and letters for Christmas?
