We are in the darkest month of the year. Still the days are getting darker and darker, with just a few hours of daylight. But we also know that we are walking towards the light. Towards winter solstice, but more important, towards the birth of our Saviour.
With these short days it is important to search as much daylight as you can get.
Going our hiking is the beat way for me to do that, and today Terje and I did one of our many hikes together. Out in the woods close to our home.
Coming home we had lunch, and then I sat down with a mug of tea and my old Norwegian copy of Louisa May Alcots Little Women, or Småfrøkner as it is called in Norwegian.
