Yesterday, in the afternoon, Terje and I went downtown to visit the annual Christmas Market. Trondheim has a quite big and very popular market, going on for almost two weeks during December.
There is quite a big variety of stalls.
I prefer the local ones, and bought a few Christmas gifts from this woman. She loves on a farm outside Trondheim, braiding sheep and is an amazing artist making things out of her sheets wool.
Inside the huge lavvo (Sápmi tent) we had dinner. Local food of course.
And then we continued with coffee and a sweet pastry in a bakery in a corner of the town market.
The bakery opened just a few days ago, and I can already see it will become a favourite of mine.
