On the eastern side of our house there is an old flower bed. Already here when we bought the house in 2001. Already then overgrown with weeds.
Every second day I say to Terje, let´s try this, let´s try that. The other days I say, let´s just remove the whole bed and plant grass instead.
Now I have got another idea though. A good one I think :-) I will remove all the old plants and make the bed into a primula bed. Or a primrose bed as you would say in English.
YouTube has really got me. Quite another way of blogging, vlogging as it is called when you use videos :-), and a lot of fun. I am not going to wave goodbye to the traditional way of blogging, but for the moment I am playing along with YouTube and so much enjoy it. Also today I made the video in Norwegian. So much easier for me to talk, so much easier to make. But when I speak, I know that so many of you will not be able to understand what I am saying.
Well, as several of you have suggested, I will see if I can make an English video from time to time. The garden videos will mostly be in Norwegian, but next weekend we are going to the cabin, and who knows what will happen then? And the weekend after that we will go to Stockholm in Sweden to visit Torgeir.......
Spring is in the air, and both Terje and I have long list of things to do. Cleaning the bicycle, was on Terje´s list, and when Leander saw bestefar busy cleaning, he decided his bike needed a deep clean as well. Water and soap and a lot of hand cleaning. And afterwards the bicycles dried in the late afternoon sun.
I am busy in the garden and in the greenhouse, and.......
Some years ago, when Terje had another job, we used to drive together to his job, and from there I walked down to the city center and the Archbishop´s Palace. Then Terje got another job, with no parking space. He bought himself a new bicycle with special winter tyres and started to bike all year. I started to go by bus.
Today Terje had a car though, from his work, and I drove with him, and walked to my job.
The catholic church is new since last time I showed you pictures from this area. The old rose bush, which I remember from my childhood, is still there :-)
