How wonderful to wake up to a day with a blank agenda. Life has been so busy lately, I have kind of counted days till this blank day. After breakfast I sat down to watch the birds, to listen to classical music and to knit. The new knitting blog has sent a flood of knitting inspiration my way, and I was eager to work on a very special project (more about this later, as it is still a secret).
Our livingroom, where I do the birdwatching, is facing south, with huge windows, and with the sun shining brighly and playful through them, I had to realize that the day was not an indoor knitting day. No, no, no. Out into the woods it had to be.
Our neighbor has made a special owl house and put it up on a hidden place deep into the forest. I am drawn there to check, but of course there are no owls to be seen in daylight.
Happiness is living close to the woods.
