I fininished all the knitting I can do so far on Leander´s sweater during the seminar today. No I need the sewing machine to sew seamsn where I shall cup open for the sleeves to be put in, but this can´t be dome here of course.
At first I thought, oh no, still more hours to sit and listen, and I have no more knitting to do! Then I looked at the left over yarn, trying to figure out if there was something I could do with it. And yes, it was! A pair of writing warmers, using the same traditional pattern as in Leander´s sweather.
Mardelle, Rauma yarn is nice and has some wonderful colours, but as you say, it can be a bit rough. Here I am using baby ull/baby woll from Dale Garn/Yarn. Here you have a link. Dale Garn, which is a Norwegian company, sells in North America also. Look here.
