Good friends have a cabin not far from ours and as often as possible we try to meet. yesterday we were pleased to be invited to them for dinner, and when we arrived they greeted us: "we hope it is okay with fish we have caught ourselves"
Of course it was okay.
Actually, nothing could have been better than self fish cod, could it?
Cod directly from the North Sea. Friends around the table. A good wine. Laughter. Words. So many tales to tell.
Soon all the fish was gone, all of us had eaten all we could have.
A walk before dessert and coffee.
To look for wild flowers, to enjoy the sea and the landscape.
More tales to tell.
Until craving for coffee sent us inside again.
Ask us again, and we will come for self fished cod any time.
