Long time readers of Britt-Arnhild´s House in the Woods know that I spent months of last year fighting some health issues. Nothing serious, but still, enough to make it very hard to work full time. But working full time has all the way been a goal of mine, and last summer I decided to give it a second try. I made it until a month ago. Then I had to look at myself in the mirror, telling myself in capital letters that enough is enough. So now I am back working 60%.
This road is filled with stones. Some of them easy to climb, others almost impossible without getting hurt, other again are beautiful and I pick them up, bring them with me.
Tomorrow is my last day of work before my four weeks´summer vacation. Which feels wonderful.....the coming vacation I mean. Terje and I have some very exciting travel plans coming up, and I will take you along through my blog. But the most important summer vacation task for me this year is to learn to, or rather continue to meet each day like beads on a string.
I took the photo with my cell phone out in the garden just now. A wild strawberry coming up along the old oine trunk. A beautiful bead to add to today´s string.
