Can you remember I wrote about funny fruit? The concept where our local grocery store (chain) sell fruit and vegetable at a reduced prize because it doesn´t have the standard size or shape?. You can read my first post about it here.
I continue to buy funny fruit and funny vegetables, and I continue to let it inspire my cooking.
Today I used carrots, red onion and garlic to make a fresh soup for lunch......
.....a soup which we ate out in The Blue Garden, together with still warm homemade bread.
It is only March 14th, and The Blue Garden is already open for the season. This must be record.
