When I came home from Oslo tonight there was a packet from amazon with books and videas waiting for me on the diningroom table. Among other goodies was the dvd "Around the World in 80 Gardens" with Monty Don.
Writing a series about the gardens of the world which I have visited has been on my list for a long time. India, Nepal, Rome, Padova, Great Britain, Copenhagen, Tenerife.....there are so many gardens, so much beauty.
Last time I was in India I got this little travel companion, handmade by my Indian mother Carolyn. Our first common travel was to Lalbagh Botanical Gardens in Bangalore.........but hopefully there will be many more.
Now I am looking forward to the dvd for inspirations.
