I have a special garden account on instagram, @akeleiehagen, the columbine garden, where I post one garden photo every day, and write a few words. It has tured out to be like a garden blog. I also post the photo and the words on facebook, and on both these places I get a lot more comments than I do here in my blog......okay, okay, I know we have had this discussion before, and I know I will not stop blogging.....through there might be periods, shorter or longer, with days without a new blog post.....having blogged for almost 10 years, thousands of individual post.......the little brook can dry out.
But as our days are getting shorter, it is dark when I leave for work in the morning now, and only a couple of hours with daylight when I return home, it is not easy to manage a new photo every day. And as frost and sleep embrace the garden, the changes from day to day are minimal.
Or are they?
@akeleiehagen has been a wonderful way to open my own eyes for the daily beauty. Now I am challenging myself to continue, even during the hibernating part of the year.
