One of many wonderful things about being a blogger, is the wonderful, worldwide circle of friends it has given me, and continue to give. Every single day I get the proofs. An email here, a letter there, postcards from everywhere!
Some emails are just funny, like one which came into my inbox this morning:
I am interested in purchasing a pair of women's selbu kittens in navy blue and white, medium size. My shipping address is in Bxxxxxxxx, MD, USA. Have you a pair for sale? What is the price of the mittens and the shipping cost?
Best regards, XX
I know I have written about Selbu mittens, at least once. But for sale? Never :-)
Others, and most, are from people who wants to say thanks for my blog. Like one which came yesterday:
Hi, My name is Axxxxxxx Axxxxxxx, born in Bergen, but was moved to the US at the age of 2
I speak Norwegian, but writing is so slow for me !
I do not even know how I came across your lovely photos of Nidaros, but thank you. You have a nice photographic eye.
I have a distant relative, a Sxxxxxx, buried in the church yard. I have never been there, but your photos made me imagine a time of the past.
Igen, Takk,
I love, simply love, to hear from my blog readers, to start developing a friendship though emails, to meet you. I have made quite a few of you, and know I will meet more in the future.
I try to write back, and always wonder - will this develop into something?
Getting a postcard in the mail is something I love most of all. And believe me, my poor postman is a busy man.......
Be where you are.
Otherwise you will miss your life.

Dear Britt-Arnhild.
One of the things I like most, is how, on your blog, you remind us to notice the remarcable in the things and places around us every day. Thank you!
I carved the quote on front and made postcards for a carving swaps.
Bright blessings,
Daena
You can see why I love to hear from you so much, don´t you :-)
