My studio is up on the first floor, just over our livingroom. It is a big enough room, but as it is filled with 1) all the chairs we don´t have room for anywhere else, and 2) books, books and books, the first challenge fun yesterday afternoon was to make room for a table for two. A table where we could sit comfortably and eat our dinner.
This table is too low, and where are all these books from.......
Ha, I do have a magic wand when it comes to finding space for books.
And more magic.
From the garden I brought a table and two chairs.
An old crocheted table cloth, a hairloom piece.
China. Glass. Flowers from the garden.
And soon the starter is ready.
Dates wrapped in bacon, and fried.
Yum!
Burning candles, a foccacia still warm from the over,
an open window out to the mild September night,
with love in the air.
The studio turned out perfect as a restaurant with a table for two.
The restaurant needs a name.
Do you have a suggestion?
Main course: spaghetti and mussels.
I had made a lot.
We ate it all.....
....and still we had room for the dessert.
Fresh plums which swam in homemade liqueur,
and vanilla sauce.
Oh my! What a date!
What a restaurant!
Do you have a name suggestion?
Share it in the comment section.
I will pick a winner who will be awarded with a meal in the new restaurant :-)
