Sami people from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia are gathered for three days for Sami Church Days in Mo i Rana, the Arctic Circle city of Norway. 10 different languages are spoken.
In a huge sami tent, a lavvo, we gather for services, presentations, discussions and concerts.
During the services a fire is burning in the middle of the lavvo.
The Holy Spirit is among us.
The theme for the days is
Hellig jord! Hellig Ord.
Holy earth! Holy Word!

And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off the shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground
