Do you know what psaligraphy is?
I didn´t either, until a few years ago when I discovered Karen Bit Vejle´s fantastic art.
Now I know it is the same as paper cutting, the craft H.C.Andersen mastered so perfectly well.
Like Hans Christian Andersen, Karen Bit Vejle comes from Denmark, but unlike Andersen she moved to Trondheim, and has now lived here for most of her adult life.
Paper.
Scissors.
A heart to feel what to do.

Karen Bit Vejle is the festival artist at Stiklestad this summer,
and yesterday I was able to visit the exhibition.
