(well, some photos are by Terje or Irina as well.........)
I have said it before, I say it again. The blog world is an amazing world!
A world where people connects, become friends, meets across the many borders.
A world where anything can happen.
A couple of months ago, in the process of planning our trip to Hong Kong, I searched internet for information. Somehow I stumbled upon a blog written by Irina, who lives in Hong Hong. I left a comment with my email address, writing that we were planning a week in her city, and to make the story short - today Irina met us and took us around to great places, new and unknown to us.
We met outside Kowloon Park, and spent a couple of hours walking around, photographing, watching, talking, developing a new friendship, enjoying ourselves.
Kowloon Park, a piece of heaven in the middle os busy, never sleeping Hong Kong.
A place to watch birds, trees, roses,
and the surrounding skyscrapers.
A place to share the deep love of photographing.
A place to build your appetite before going to a restaurant for Dim Sum.
Dim Sum, the Cantonese "drink tea",
new to us,
but we both fell in love.
There and then.
And after a loooong meal, and dozens of cups og jasmin tea,
we were ready for more adventure.
Hong Kong, a city with so much to offer.
How could we ever believe that one week would be enough?
Thank you Irina for meeting us today.
Thank you for your smiles, your words, your friendship.
I am sure we will meet again.
In Hong Kong? In Trondheim? In Venice?
