The Blue Garden is cold and wet these days.
I love the shaggy look of fallen leaves and needles and cones from the pine trees. But not all the dead heads, all the withered flowers and roses.
I love the change of the garden palette.
Being a gardener means to live with all seasons.
From the first sign of life in early spring, till a sleeping garden in deep winter.
Autumn is the most beautiful season in the garden.
Every season is the most beautiful season in the garden.
With sparkling colours,
faded beauty,
and some fresh planting.
The autumn palette is different,
warmer.
The autumn palette makes me long for a quilt, wollen, handknitted socks, a warm coat, a pot of rosemary tea, a mug big enough to warm my fingers.
Though working in a cold, wet, beautiful autumn blue garden can warm you enough to take off your scarf....at least for a while.
Welcome to my Blue Garden in autumn.
And when the rain shower hits us,
we can always have our tea inside the greenhouse.
Have a blessed Sunday.
