When I was a girl I collected bird's feathers together with brother Frode. Frod, 22 months younger than me, was a good collector, always finding the most interesting feathers, always learning more about the different birds which feathers we found. He challenged me and I loved it.
I still collect feathers.
Though today they have the shape of unexpected golden moments through my day. Like an angel's whisper.
I have decided to start showing one feather a day, giving voice to the heavenly whisper
....like the other day; two young Chinese student standing close to the cathedral wall, while I passed I heard one of them say in awe 'these walls are a thousand years old', then both took off their thick wooden gloves, stroking the cold stone
......and then yesterday; we've had a huge conference at work, I came early yesterday, there was so much I needed to do before the program started. A woman unknown to me came and started to undress her thich coat in the library next to my office, then she took out a violin from the case she was carrying and magic started to creep in to where I sat. She was going to play for us during the day, my morning was filled with her warming up - traditional Norwegian folk music, Grieg, Celtic hymns
::::::::::::::::::
I wonder what the angel has up in her sleeve for me today?
Have you heard the angel's whisper to you?
