We were reading through my mother's old Poesi book, from when she was a little girl, just before WWII.
Elsk din mann og stryk hans skjorte
sa blir han ikke om natter borte
We laughed till we cried........and of course it is impossible to translate this little poem into English. What it says though is ; love your husband and iron his shirt, then he will not disappear at nights.
Terje and I had a quiet day yesterday. I had my nose deep, deep, deep into a book about the renaissance architect Palladio, and was blind to everything else. During a reading break (I HAD to go to the toilet) I found Terje ironing a few of his shirts.
It made me wonder about his plans for the night!!!!!!!
HAPPY VALENTINE.
The first photo is of a small box I have where I collect hearts recieved in letters for Valentines.
