My mother turns 80 today. Still fit as anyone half her age, she travels the world (yes, I am her daughter), she plays the piano and still gives piano lessons, she knits for her huge family, she is the cross word expert among family and friends, she climbs over, or rather jumps when she meets an obstacle, she runs the stairs, she lives her life fully 24/7 and is a huge and important inspiration to children and grandchildren. Her main birthday present is the one she is giving out to us, a week in Dubrovnic, Croatia in August for children and grandchildren.
I wanted to post a video here today of mother playing Sibelius on our piano, struggled for hours yesterday, but DID NOT FIX IT! I am totally sure that if mother was blogging she would be able to help, yes, aged 80 she is an active facebook user......
........................ there will be an open house at my parents place today and I might hear her play then.......and I am crossing my fingers and toes that she will play at the huge party given for her tomorrow.
