Every time I visit Copenhagen I visit Tage Andersen and his amazing flower studio. I had left my suitcase in the charming hotel at Nyhavn and started to walk over to Ny Adelgade where Tage has his studio when I passed these flowers artistically displayed on the pavement. My curiosity was caught. Another shop, another flower studio in the spirit of how I imagine flower heaven must be alike.....
The world stopped. It felt like my own will melted away, my feet, my heart froze only to start melting the next second, to start rejoycing..........such beauty.
My allergies keep me from filling The House in the Woods with fresh flower, but no allergy can keep me away from a flower studio like this. Especially when given so many allergy-free ideas.
I walked in, I bought all the different postcards I could find, I bought a new bright red diary and I took photos, very nicely asking permission first....
I love people who are creative enough to come up with such simple ideas. Eggs in a soft nest of ivy. Now I know what Marta and I will be doing before Easter.
Orange, a favorite colour. One of my "the book I am working on"-notebooks is orange, the pen I use for writing is orange, my glass hart necklace is orange.......
Have you ever seen a more charming flower pot? Eggshells......... Easter decorations, here I come.....
Terje, here is a job for you, you can help me collect small logs for the ivy nest.....
The basement workshop made me beam! In my next, allergy-free life, I want to run a flower workshop......well, the next life after the first next life I mean. I am not forgetting the B&B. Or may be I can have a flower studio in the basement of the B&B, or make Terje build a conservatory.......
I felt blessed, I felt rish when I left Nyhavn and Erik Buck. I walked over to Ny Adelgade and Tage Andersen.....
......but this time only to look at the blooming, bloodred camelias through the windows.
I have another trip sceduled to Copenhagen in April. Then I think I will visit both Erik Buch and Tage Andersen. Will you join me?
