We were waiting for our suitcase at the airport, I saw a woman smiling and waving to me, and suddenly we found ourself in happy conversation with old friends which we hadn't seen in about 25 yeears. We knew at once that these days will be good
An hour later we sat down at the Market Square, almost too cold to sit outdoors, but after the cold and wet weather in Trondheim the past weeks, we were desperate. Outside it had to be.
Fresh, homemade bread and some kind of grease were served while we read the menue. We hadn't eaten in many, many hours and though we originally had planned a light lunch, the night will be the night for dinner at Pod Aniolami, we both decided to try a local dish with a mix of dumplings, sausages, sauerkrauts and meat.
Too much food for a lunch, and though it tasted lovely, I soon finished and started to look around.
Two horses dragging a chart passed and when the passengers started to wave happily to my camera I knew I was in heaven.
Since then I've been flying. Hand in hand with Terje.......
