Yesterday I showed you doors, one here, alot over in Trondheim Through all Seasons. Today I'll show you a few houses I photographed yesterday. All photos are from a small area west of the city center.
I like to walk around among houses. Yesterday it was morning and already light, though it was quiet and looked like most people were sleeping in on a Saturday morning. The most chraming part of the day though is the blue hour, in the afternoon when light is fading and one by one the lights are turned on.
Did I say that all photos were from the area west of the city center? Not quite true. The next photo is from a small "veit" (street or calle) just north of Vår Frue kirke (Our Lady's Church).... I was invited to a concert in Vår Frue kirke last night, with the saxophonist Tore Ljøkjel.
And here are photos from Bakklandet, east of the city center, across the river Nidelven. A door, I know, but you can also see part of the beautiful house behind.
You all know that from time to time I wonder if I can keep up with my blogging. Blogging is an important part of my life, but it take time, and for the moment it is greying my hair that I don't find time to visit other blogs, don't find time to stay in contact with my readers. In church yesterday I met an old friend and she told me a story - a woman she know was walking through a hard time in her life, death, sorrows, climbing mountains. "But you know" she told my friend, "I have discovered a blog. It is written in English but I do believe that the blogger is from Norway, from Trondheim. I read it almost every day and it helps me through this difficult walk." My friend was quiet for a few seconds, and then asked "Is the blogger's name Britt-Arnhild?" "Yes, it is. How did you know?"
Thank you Eli for sharing this story with me yesterday. It gave me new courage to keep on with my blogging and even more important, it told me that the book I am writing, the book I am struggling with, is a book meant to be.
My walk though life is a walk where I look for signs of God, my Creator. In myself, in the people I meet, in nature, in time..........I feel blessed to be able to walk part of this way with you.
