After a long and wonderful morning on the train, driving through the most beautiful landscape you can imagine, small lakes where people were swimming or sailing, villages with the most charming churches, castles on top of every second hill, I was met at the raiway station by Merisis.
I was to see Wien with the best guide there is.
If you, like me, have read Merisi's Vienna for beginnersevery day for years on end, you will know what I am talking about.
If you haven't read Merisi's blog it is high time you start.......and well, meanwhile you can may be enjoy some of my photos :-)
Merisis and I have walked around for hours and hours. Stopping from time to time at one of Wien's millions of coffee houses. To eat, to have a coffee or a soft drink. Or just to take photos. One day I'll take you on a Wienese coffee house safari. There practically are millions of them.
But there is aot more than coffee houses to see.......
Night is falling over Wien. Merisis just went home and I plan to go back to my flat soon as well, I am tired after a long day, I am looking forward to tomorrow.
Then we'll meet for breakfast at Demel's
