We are on the road today, 1000kms from Trondheim down to where my father in law lives. We started early, it takes time to swallow kilometers on Norwegian roads, and during this first part we are delayed because of hundreds of bikers biking from Trondheim to Oslo. It is the day of "Den store styrkeprøven"!
Poor guys, 500kms in rain and cold. Over a mountain, Dovre, where Edward Grieg's Mountain King lives.....And they do this by their own choice?
Nature is beautiful along the road, though I doubt the bikers see much of it.
And the rain will eventually stop......
Three weeks ago, Terje, Marta and I watch another bike race, Giro di Italia.
Different countries, different weather.
Great experiences. And especially becaus the Norwegian Edvald Boasson Hagen did a very good job. I wonder if our Norwegian flags and our cheering helped :-)
Our days are never boring. Now I look forward to blog from beautiful Norway for three weeks, and I stil lhave more Italian and Austria stories up in my sleeve.....
