Guess where we spend our afternoons this week? Yes, you are right, in the car, trying the best we can to find our way though the snow. It keeps on snowing, hour after hour, day after day. I have got my red Ilse Jacobsen wellington boots (will show you photos as soon as I have some daylight for photographing), and struggle my way from the Archbishop's Palace up to where Terje work. I didn't need a New Year's resolution about getting fit, now I get exercise for free :-)
From Terje's work we can drive home in 10 minutes when there is no traffic. Yesterday it took us about one hour!
The weather is extreme, and it drains my energy just to life my daily life. Still I am lucky. I have a safe job, I have a warm house, we have fuel, we have food, we have the love for each other. And I have my red boots!
Last night Terje had to remove snow from our carport roof. And as every day he had to plough the way to our house, by handforce. Hours of work. I have a fit man and he gets fitter every day :-)
Marta was out with him, jumping from the roof into mountains of snow. Red cheeked. Smiling, Laughing. Beautiful.

First note: walking with red wellingtons is better than biking.
Second note: today I have a book about pasta sauces in my backpack. I will plan our dinner while driving home.
